My Hillsdale College Presentation on Dugin and Putin

Hillsdale College recently invited me to speak at their Center for Constructive Alternatives event on Russia. Here’s the video I produced for them. It’s on the ideological dimensions of Russian foreign policy under Putin. The thesis, in short, is that Duginism is a good guide to Putinism.

Note that this video was made before Putin’s annexation speech, which supports the thesis. And please understand that it is in no way meant as a statement about the Ukrainian people’s rights, aspirations, or suffering. It’s an argument about how to understand Russian ideology based on my work on Dugin and other evidence.
