Philosophical Advisory
for founders, investors, and leaders thinking seriously about what they're building — and why
“I rarely do this but I highly recommend a couple of hours with Michael Millerman if you want to learn the 1’s and 0’s of how our economic and political systems evolved. He covers the ideas of the philosophical greats - from Plato, Aristotle, Socrates to Schmitt, Strauss, Heidegger & Dugin. He’s already made me a better investor and overall thinker. Reach out to him!”
What I Do
Most advisory is tactical. I work at the level below tactics: the assumptions, frameworks, and historical patterns that determine which tactics make sense. My clients come to me when they need to think more clearly about technology, power, markets, or civilization-level change
Ongoing advisory: regular conversations as a thinking partner
Intensive sessions: deep work on a specific question or decision
Research & synthesis: curated intellectual frameworks for your situation
How It Works
Intensive — A focused engagement around a specific question, decision, or text. Three sessions over three to six weeks. You come in with a problem; you leave with a framework.
$3,000
Ongoing Advisory — Monthly deep dives plus async access between sessions. We build a sustained philosophical partnership around your work and thinking. Most clients stay for a year or more.
$1,500/month · $12,000/year
Both begin with an introductory call to see if there's a fit. No obligation.
Why Me
I hold a PhD in political philosophy. I've spent two decades with thinkers most people find too difficult or too dangerous to engage seriously — Heidegger, Nietzsche, Strauss, Schmitt, Dugin. I've published books, translated philosophers, and built an audience of 40,000+ who follow my work on technology, politics, and ideas.
I've also spent the past two years immersed in AI — not as a critic, but as a practitioner. Classical philosophical training plus hands-on AI fluency is a rare combination. I've advised a hedge fund on political philosophy and geopolitical risk. I work with founders and investors who want to think more carefully about the world they're creating.
Who This is for
• You run something consequential and think about it more seriously than most people around you
• You've read widely but want a trained philosophical mind to think alongside
• You're navigating questions about technology, power, markets, or culture that don't have obvious answers
• You want sharper judgment, not more information
Past and current clients include hedge fund analysts, founders, data scientists, and professionals across industries who believe that the deepest competitive advantages are philosophical.
